Hi,
after some testing I have virtio-net working - I see dhcp and nfs root work.

	Sending DHCP requests .., OK
	IP-Config: Got DHCP answer from 192.168.1.2, my address is 192.168.1.10
	IP-Config: Complete:
	     device=eth0, addr\x192.168.1.10, mask%5.255.255.0, gw\x192.168.1.2,
	     host\x192.168.1.10, domain=local-devnet, nis-domain=(none),
	     bootserver\x192.168.1.2, rootserver\x192.168.1.2, rootpath	Looking up port of RPC 100003/2 on 192.168.1.2
	Looking up port of RPC 100005/1 on 192.168.1.2

	VFS: Mounted root (nfs filesystem).
	Freeing unused kernel memory: 116k init


Actually the only "patch" we need is one to kconfig to be able to select virtio for us.
Unfortunately my guest is hit by the known issue of the itlb->guest for the kernel mapping itself.

	Unable to handle kernel paging request for instruction fetch
	Faulting instruction address: 0xc0000ac0

Because of that I can not stress test virtio-net or virtio-disk on ppc, so I will have to continue to work on that tlb issue first.
I will soon send mails for the Kconfig patch, an example for a qemu-ifup script, qemu command line options needed for virtio, update the wiki pages, ....
