These patches get qemu's GDB stub working for us, at least as far as that goes.
That means you can use GDB to debug the guest (rather than qemu itself), though
I haven't tested it thoroughly.

There's more cleanup that could be done, and also AFAICS x86's gdb stub is
broken because it never uses the KVM_TRANSLATE ioctl, but I'm putting these out
now in case they're useful.
