About the poor release....

Hi Riley and Alan,
 what sould we do now that we missed the release date? Was it announced
anywhere? I suggest that I make the packages of 0.1.0 and upload them
when Riley updates the web pages properly for the release.

What do you say?

As far as I know, the only announcement was on this list.

As you've probably noticed, I'm in the process on ANSI'fying the ELKS
sources, and I've done most of this already - I've done all except the
arch subtree, and have started on that as well, and should have this
done by the end of this week, Sunday 28th April 2002.

Allowing time for the packages to be made and uploaded after that, I
would suggest we aim for the release of 0.1.0 on Wednesday, 1st May
2002, at as near to 00.00 GMT as we can manage.

Comments, anybody?

With immediate effect, the ANSI'fication of the function prototypes is
complete. As a result of this, one set of bugs has already been detected
as the function chq_addch is in many cases called with its last
parameter missing (the definition has three parameters, but many calls
only supply the first two and omit the timeout that occupies the third
value).

I'll have a look at the website over the weekend, and should have it
ready to upload from Monday.
