I'm trying to decipher a pythom script someone gave me for
administration and I can't figure out what the symbol 9[18] means in a
regular expression as in

 re.compile('MezsageXYZ,9[18]\d\d')

I have most of the rest of it figured but I can't find this in the
Python book I'm using.

All help is appreciated,

David A. Kirkwood

9[18] will match either "91" or "98".
