+STMicroelectronics STM32 Digital Camera Memory Interface (DCMI)
+
+Required properties:
+- compatible: "st,stm32-dcmi"
+- reg: physical base address and length of the registers set for the device
+- interrupts: should contain IRQ line for the DCMI
+- resets: reference to a reset controller,
+          see Documentation/devicetree/bindings/reset/st,stm32-rcc.txt
+- clocks: list of clock specifiers, corresponding to entries in
+          the clock-names property
+- clock-names: must contain "mclk", which is the DCMI peripherial clock
+- pinctrl: the pincontrol settings to configure muxing properly
+ for pins that connect to DCMI device.
+           See Documentation/devicetree/bindings/pinctrl/st,stm32-pinctrl.txt.
+- dmas: phandle to DMA controller node,
+        see Documentation/devicetree/bindings/dma/stm32-dma.txt
+- dma-names: must contain "tx", which is the transmit channel from DCMI to DMA
+
+DCMI supports a single port node with parallel bus. It should contain one
+'port' child node with child 'endpoint' node. Please refer to the bindings
+defined in Documentation/devicetree/bindings/media/video-interfaces.txt.
+
+Example:
+
+	dcmi: dcmi at 50050000 {
+		compatible = "st,stm32-dcmi";
+		reg = <0x50050000 0x400>;

+		resets = <&rcc STM32F4_AHB2_RESET(DCMI)>;
+		clocks = <&rcc 0 STM32F4_AHB2_CLOCK(DCMI)>;
+		clock-names = "mclk";
+		pinctrl-names = "default";
+		pinctrl-0 = <&dcmi_pins>;
+		dmas = <&dma2 1 1 0x414 0x3>;

* [PATCH v4 0/8] Add support for DCMI camera interface of STMicroelectronics STM32 SoC series
From: Hugues Fruchet @ 2017-04-20 16:07 UTC (permalink / raw)
  To: linux-arm-kernel

This patchset introduces a basic support for Digital Camera Memory Interface
(DCMI) of STMicroelectronics STM32 SoC series.

This first basic support implements RGB565 & YUV frame grabbing.
Cropping and JPEG support will be added later on.

This has been tested on STM324x9I-EVAL evaluation board embedding
an OV2640 camera sensor.

This driver depends on:

Checkpatch complains about lines being over 80 characters long. It is better to
keep the above or do as follow and make checkpatch happy?

                cpuhp_setup_state_nocalls_cpuslocked(
                                        PUHP_AP_ARM_CORESIGHT_STARTING,

                ret = cpuhp_setup_state_nocalls_cpuslocked(
                                        CPUHP_AP_ONLINE_DYN,

Same for coresight-etm4x.c

* [PATCH] ARM: KVM: Fix idmap stub entry when running Thumb-2 code
From: Marc Zyngier @ 2017-04-20 15:02 UTC (permalink / raw)
  To: linux-arm-kernel

When entering the hyp stub implemented in the idmap, we try to
be mindful of the fact that we could be running a Thumb-2 kernel
by adding 1 to the address we compute. Unfortunately, the assembler
also knows about this trick, and has already generated an address
that has bit 0 set in the litteral pool.

Our superfluous correction ends up confusing the CPU entierely,
as we now branch to the stub in ARM mode instead of Thumb, and on
a possibly unaligned address for good measure. From that point,
nothing really good happens.

The obvious fix in to remove this stupid target PC correction.

Fixes: 6bebcecb6c5b ("ARM: KVM: Allow the main HYP code to use the init hyp stub implementation")

Grmbl... We inadvertently switched to ARM by applying a pretty silly
correction to the target PC when branching to the stub, while the
assembler has already provided us with a valid Thumb address.

/me hates Thumb, patch incoming.

Stephen,

Yes, the use of arm-soc version was the way to go. I now have updated my at91-next tree to match Alexandre's pull-request and hope it is not in conflict anymore.

Thanks for your fix.

Hi Grygorii,

Not sure if you saw the question at the bottom asking for clarification
on what you'd prefer as far as any dev_xxx() message for this case. If
there is still concern on the other patch, I could just resubmit this
standalone (perhaps aiming for 4.12 at this point).

[...snip...]

FYI, I have searched for all uses of gpio{,d}_set_debounce (in v4.11-rc1),
and found nothing concerning. Most drivers fall back to software debounce.

The only exception I found was mmc_spi (via mmc_gpio_request_cd), but the
only time that has a non-zero debounce requested is for vision_ep9307 which
is hardcoded to ask for a 1us debounce via platform data. I don't believe
ep93xx would use the gpio-omap driver anyways. The mmc-spi-slot devicetree
binding doesn't support setting a debounce on any of the GPIOs.

* [PATCH v4 8/8] arm, arm64, drivers: add a prefix to drivers arch_topology interfaces
From: Juri Lelli @ 2017-04-20 14:43 UTC (permalink / raw)
  To: linux-arm-kernel
In-Reply-To: <20170420144316.15632-1-juri.lelli@arm.com>

Now that some functions that deal with arch topology information live
under drivers, there is a clash of naming that might create confusion.

Tidy things up by creating a drivers namespace for interfaces used by
arch code; achieve this by prepending a 'atd_' (arch topology driver)
prefix to driver interfaces.

* [PATCH v4 6/8] arm,arm64,drivers: reduce scope of cap_parsing_failed
From: Juri Lelli @ 2017-04-20 14:43 UTC (permalink / raw)
  To: linux-arm-kernel
In-Reply-To: <20170420144316.15632-1-juri.lelli@arm.com>

Reduce the scope of cap_parsing_failed (making it static in
drivers/base/arch_topology.c) by slightly changing {arm,arm64} DT
parsing code.

For arm checking for !cap_parsing_failed before calling normalize_
cpu_capacity() is superfluous, as returning an error from parse_
cpu_capacity() (above) means cap_from _dt is set to false.

For arm64 we can simply check if raw_capacity points to something,
which is not if capacity parsing has failed.

* [PATCH v4 5/8] arm, arm64: factorize common cpu capacity default code
From: Juri Lelli @ 2017-04-20 14:43 UTC (permalink / raw)
  To: linux-arm-kernel
In-Reply-To: <20170420144316.15632-1-juri.lelli@arm.com>

arm and arm64 share lot of code relative to parsing CPU capacity
information from DT, using that information for appropriate scaling and
exposing a sysfs interface for chaging such values at runtime.

Factorize such code in a common place (driver/base/arch_topology.c) in
preparation for further additions.

* [PATCH v4 4/8] arm: remove wrong CONFIG_PROC_SYSCTL ifdef
From: Juri Lelli @ 2017-04-20 14:43 UTC (permalink / raw)
  To: linux-arm-kernel
In-Reply-To: <20170420144316.15632-1-juri.lelli@arm.com>

The sysfs cpu_capacity entry for each CPU has nothing to do with
PROC_FS, nor it's in /proc/sys path.

Remove such ifdef.

* [PATCH v4 3/8] arm: fix return value of parse_cpu_capacity
From: Juri Lelli @ 2017-04-20 14:43 UTC (permalink / raw)
  To: linux-arm-kernel
In-Reply-To: <20170420144316.15632-1-juri.lelli@arm.com>

parse_cpu_capacity() has to return 0 on failure, but it currently returns
1 instead if raw_capacity kcalloc failed.

Fix it (by directly returning 0).

Cc: Russell King <linux@arm.linux.org.uk>
Reported-by: Morten Rasmussen <morten.rasmussen@arm.com>
Fixes: 06073ee26775 ('ARM: 8621/3: parse cpu capacity-dmips-mhz from DT')
Signed-off-by: Juri Lelli <juri.lelli@arm.com>
Acked-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@armlinux.org.uk>

Changes from v3:

 - directly return 0 on failure (as pointed out by Vincent)
