Hi,
I've got a Siemens Lifebook 6120 with built-in ALPS bluetooth (usb).
I tried to use this with bluez. The hci_usb module was loaded successfully, I
can see the device with usbview, but nothing else. I cannot find the device
with hciconfig and hcitool. Can anybody help me? (my distr: suse8.2)

what about sending us more information. Logfiles, dmesg, lsmod,
/proc/bus/usb/devices etc.

the problem is, that the USB Bluetooth class is not set correctly. Try
this patch. How old is your notebook?
