No change.

A small correction: oops does not happen *every* time, I have to do 5 or
6 connects/disconnects until it happens.  (this must have been the same
before the patch).

I am including another oops trace (photo of the screen).  Unfortunately
the top of the stack scrolls off the screen and cannot be seen.  If you
need it, I might compile the kernel with framebuffer and use smaller
font.
