Hi Marcel,
I tried to start hcid by typing it at the command-line, but I don't know how
to control if this daemon runs.

Hcidump -x gives nearly no response, only the version-no

Some other informations, but I don't know how to step further in oredr to
get the BT connection

Marcel, please be so kind to help me and give me some more ideas.

In the meantime I tried to change to kernel-version 2.6.8.1 --> the only
result was a KERNEL PANIC

I have a SuSE 9.1 Distri and now I met the wall, so I remove to the running
kernel

Thanks for help on BT

Peter

Hi Peter,

check with ps. You must run it as root and only one hcid process at the
same time is allowed.

Then there is something wrong. You must at least see something when you
run an inquiry or create a connection. Do this as root.

Regards

Marcel
