Guys,

I only noticed recently that these xtrememac.com guys were promising a
class 1 device supporting a2dp (about a year ago!). They say they've
shelved the product. Too bad... I don't think there are any class 1
headsets (a2dp or no)

Class 1 headset(s) + asterisk pbx + voice-commands + streaming a2dp
audio would be an extrememly slick setup...

Brad

don't worry so much about the class 1 headphones, because even using a
class 1 dongle will increase the range. However there will be others
that will build a class 1 headphone. The Bluetooth devices with A2DP
support are at their beginning. I expect more to come in the near future
and then there is no longer any need for a sound card in your desktop or
notebook. If for example Apple will include A2DP audio source support
into their iPODs everything might change very quickly.

Regards

Marcel
