Hallo Mr. Hotmann,

With intereting, I have read your article
(<http://www.holtmann.org/linux/bluetooth/sbc.html
<http://www.holtmann.org/linux/bluetooth/sbc.html> >). And I have bought the
product <http://www.bluetake.com/products/BT420EX.htm
<http://www.bluetake.com/products/BT420EX.htm> >.

My questions are:

Do you have opensource-based A2DP sink (plus SBC decoding) for Windows,
WinCE, or linux?

If yes, I would like to make some test with BT420's audio adapter (A2DP
source)?

Thanks in advance

Best regards

Qi Wu

we have SBC encoding and decoding for Linux and A2DP source. Check out
the page bluetooth-alsa.sf.net for more details.

We don't implement A2DP sink at the moment.

Marcel

I agree that A2DP sink support would be very useful. How much work do
you think remains?

Hey

As Marcel pointed out, Henryk's SBC implementation includes decoding.

Implementing the AVDTP part of the sink would be very much like what
we're doing in a2play.c, but it would require some coding. If you're
familiar with the spec it could be done in a few days.

for checking out the Toshiba Windows stack, I wrote something that could
be extended to A2DP sink. However I can't find it anymore.

The Toshiba Windows stack also supports the A2DP profile, but only with
their own SR-1 headphone. The details for that can be found at

Marcel
