Hi Mirza,
> I want to know if there is SDIO support in Bluez?
the Linux kernel is missing general SDIO support. We are working on
having a full SDIO host capable stack for the Linux kernel and after
that we will also have support for Bluetooth SDIO cards.
Regards
Marcel

Hello Marcel,
Thanks for your prompt reply. I work for a company that makes Bluetooth
chips that support SDIO. What are my options if I want to add support for
these chips under Bluez?
Regards
Mirza

Hi everybody,
Are there any developments in progress concerning BlueZ support for
Bluetooth devices over SD/SDIO protocol?
Thanks,
Claudio

Hi Claudio,

BlueZ and SDIO works perfectly together. You only need a kernel with the
SDIO support and the generic Bluetooth SDIO driver (btsdio). Both have
been merged upstream and can be found in 2.6.24. The Bluetooth SDIO
device has to comply with the Type-A or Type-B standard.
Regards
Marcel

Thanks Marcel. We'll try it.
Does anybody know about an SDIO specific device tested with BlueZ stack?
Any modifications required to the generic driver?
Thanks,
Claudio
