Hi folks,
I compiled an installed fine from http://bluetooth-alsa.sourceforge.net/build.html
...and got the a2dpd up and running.
Also added the SDP records:
sdptool add A2SRC
sdptool add AVRTG
I can connect to the service from my windows laptop, but not from my cellphone and in either case, theres no sound on the Computer. Pairing etc. worked fine.
How do I play music from the cellphone to the linux-box? Theres a lot of HOWTOs the other way round but not this way.
Any help?
Thanx guys...

there is no point in playing with a2dpd anymore. Use the new audio
service that has around for a couple of releases now.

Marcel

Hi Marcel,
Thx for the quick reply.
This might sound stupid, but I thought a2dpd was the "new service".
As I read on http://bluetooth-alsa.sourceforge.net/build.html.
Could you point me to the right direction / show me where to read?
Or just the right words to google for.
Thank You
Christian

check wiki.bluez.org. Simply use --enable-audio with the lastest
releases and the new audio service will be build. The Bluetooth-ALSA
project is dead. We are moving code over to BlueZ.

O.K.
I'll read in to that then.
Too bad that there are no hints nowhere.
Thanks for the Tip.

Hi Marcel,
My bad. You are right of course!
I meant the bluetooth-alsa project not mentioning they are dead.
Keep up the good work!!!
