Hi Folks,

I finally got around to setup a translation within Launchpad for the
bluez-gnome trunk:

https://translations.launchpad.net/bluez-gnome/trunk/+pots/bluetooth-manager/

So please start translating bluez-gnome there and then I can easily
import these translation into the CVS and finally can make releases with
an up-to-date translation.

Regards

Marcel

Hi Marcel,

A while ago you were talking about changing the SCM from CVS to git.
Another option now you are already using launchpad for translations is
to use bzr on launchpad (there is already a mirror of bluez-gnome on
launchpad bzr). Yet another option would be to use GNOME SVN for bluez
gnome.

Do you have any idea when you change to another SCM?

Jaap

I mentioned this multiple times by now. We gonna switch to git once we
are opening the BlueZ 4.0 series. At that time bluez-gnome will become
1.0. If I am going to switch to a different SCM it will be git.
Anything else is out of the question and especially bzr.

Using GNOME SVN is an option, but only because the translation might
become easier. I am going to test Rosetta now and see how that works
out.

Regards

Marcel

There's also the option of using GNOME's SVN, with git-svn and the GNOME
translation team, instead of Launchpad and Rosetta:

I am testing Rosetta right now. I wanna see how good their interaction
between upstream source and distro packages really is. I've been told
they have everything that is needed, but right now, I don't see that.
However without trying, I can't really tell them what is missing from
the upstream perspective.

It is for sure that I am going to move away from Sourceforge and CVS,
but I have to find the best solution.

Regards

Marcel
