Neither OHCI nor EHCI was enabled in my kernel. Changed that and the
mouse works like a charm at console and X ;-)
Thank you for that hint!
But anyway: hcitool inq like shown at
http://www.holtmann.org/linux/bluetooth/hid.html tells:
