Hi,
We are going to use Bluecore4 chip for our product. I wanted to know whether the current bluez implementation

besides eSCO we fully support the BlueCore4 chips. So feel free to play
with the EDR feature.

Marcel

Hi Marcel,
thanks for your response. I have some more queries.
In our product we are using linux kernel 2.4.18.We cannot upgrade
our kernel immediately. I want to know whether CSR Bluecore4 support
is available for 2.4.18 kernel. Is there any patch available for that?
I found a kernel patch "patch-2.4.18-mh15.gz" in your website. Does it have=
the
Bluecore4 support? Also we would like to use our bluetooth device as Access=
point.
Does it support PAN and LAN profiles? =
I am a newbie to bluetooth technology. Please apologize me if I am asking s=
ome technically wrong
questions.
regards
durai

Hi,
I forgot to tell you that We are running 2.4.18 linux kernel in a
big endian mips platform. Has it been already tested in some of the big end=
ian platforms?

we fully support big endian platforms. However there might be still bugs
in it, because I lost my big endian test system again. I you found a
missing endian conversion, send me a patch for it.

in general it should work, but I never tested EDR with a 2.4 kernel.
