did you edit your hcid.conf ?
you should receive a pop up on your pc
if your pc does not pop a message (bluezpin) after you entered a serial
on your phone,
you will not be able to connect it
i think try to install everything
from bluez first
http://www.bluez.org/download.html
i give you my little howto
