Can anyone explain what might be the condition when l2cap responds with 'security block' as seen in the sniffer?
I had assumed this might be the passkey but the proper '0000' is in /etc/bluetooth/pin.
This is a motorola H320 headset.
 Thanks.

Hi Walt,

this can have multiple reasons. Check "hcidump -X -V" and also look at
the syslog messages from hcid.

Regards

Marcel

Hi Marcel,
I'm a little lost why it gets it. I think some indirect reason is why pin is neg reply. '0000' is the right pin!

swordfish bluetooth # sdptool browse
Inquiring ...
Browsing 00:19:1F:29:E0:4C ...

This is the last 25% or so of the hcidump. you can see the pin refusal and the security block at the end. This is after pairing and running btsco for headset address.
