Hi to all developpers,

I'm a 3rd party user. I would like to thank you all for the work you've done so far.

I also would like to point you to this bug in case you were not already aware of it : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bluez-utils/+bug/191704

As you probably know Ubuntu 8.04 will be released in less than 2 weeks and that would be nice to be able to make mouses and keyboards to work by factory.

Thank you all

I did not read that bug completely (was there any information in there? If
yes, i could not find it). But everything works just fine without hidd here=
. I
can manage my input devices with kdebluetooth's input wizards, and i know t=
hat
people are using the bluez-gnome applet to connect input devices (have not
tried it for some time now, but i am positive that it works).

Hi Stefan,

For those people and me, we were able to make our keyboard or mouse working before Hardy, now it doesn't work anymore. In my case, my mouse is seen by bluez-utils, but it does'nt connect (hidd missing). According to the number of posts for only a beta version of Ubuntu, you can immagine there will be a lot more people having this problem when it is released in one week.

Alexandre
