Hello,

could you please add my question to the mailing list?

I use suse linux 8.2 since one week.

Can anybody help me, to go online with the pcmcia-card from pico (sphinx) and the bluetooth-modem (sphinx-electronics).
There are lots of questions:
works the connection between the pcmcia-card (pico) and the bluetooth-modem (pico-sphinx)?
My modem requires the pin 12345 for the first connection between the pcmcia-card and the modem.
How can I send this pin to the modem? (How can I communicate between the pcmcia-Card and the modem? e.a. for the internet-connection)

I've already added my pico-card to the file /etc/pcmcia/config.

But what must I do now?

I hope anybody can help me.

Greetings from Germany

check that your card works correctly. Do this with "hciconfig -a". If it
is shown, then start "hcid" and call "rfcomm connect 0 <bdaddr> 1".

For more information look at the mailing list archives and check my

Sorry.
Please don't be angry.
It's completely new for me, to work with Linux.
So please tell me:
Where can I find <hciconfig -a>?
It isn't a command for the Shell, isn't it?
(When I input <hciconfig> to the shell, i get a error)
Have I to install this programm separately?
Has it the same name in German-Linux?

Greetings

Moni

your SuSE 8.2 may not contain the correct BlueZ packages, so you must
install them from the source or update to a SuSE 9.1. The source
packages can be found at www.bluez.org/download.html and you can follow
the instructions in the README and INSTALL file.

Marcel
