Subject: [PATCH 21/22] ksmbd: query POSIX filesystem info through the open file
Date: Sat, 17 Oct 2026 10:03:43 +0900	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20261017010344.11478-21-linkinjeon@kernel.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20261017010344.11478-1-linkinjeon@kernel.org>

POSIX filesystem queries use the share root for statfs and do not
validate the requested file handle. This can report the wrong filesystem
for files below a mount point within the share.

Require SMB3.1.1 POSIX extensions and a valid POSIX open. Resolve the
requested handle, including compound file IDs, and use its referenced
path for the filesystem query.
