The following features are supported:
- Manual exposure an gain control support.
- vblank/hblank control support.
- vflip/hflip control support
- Test pattern control support.
- Dynamic mode configuration (e.g. up to 1920 x 1080 @ 30 fps, SBGGR10)

The driver is tested on mainline branch v7.0-rc2 on IMX8MP Debix Model a.

V2 -> V3

Patch 1/3:
- Drop the fixed data-lanes property, as the sensor supports only a 2-lane MIPI interface.

Patch 2/3:
- Use regmap paging features for page selection.
- Use sd instead of _sd.
- Remove an extra blank line.
- Remove hblank control, as it is not used to set hblank on this sensor.
- Remove an unnecessary error check.
- Reduce the scope of the ret variable in os02g10_set_pad_format().
- Rely on the control value for link_freq_index.
- Call os02g10_parse_endpoint() before initializing regulators, GPIOs, and the clock in probe().

Add new Patch 3/3:
- Add dynamic mode configuration instead of using a hardcoded specific mode, as suggested by Laurent.

V1 -> V2

patch 1/2:
- Corrected $id to ovti,os02g10.yaml
- Fixed data-lanes property structure to use proper items format

patch 2/2:
- Mode-specific register writes handled dynamically.
- Moved page 2 registers into a dedicated page 2 block.
- Used pm_runtime_get_if_active() in set_ctrls.
- Resolved negative hblank issue.
- Improved error messages in disable_stream.
- Updated V4L2_SEL_TGT_CROP and V4L2_SEL_TGT_CROP_BOUNDS.
- Added my name to the author list.

From: Tarang Raval <tarang.raval@siliconsignals.io>

Add crop support to os02g10 by implementing .set_selection() and
storing the crop rectangle in subdev state.

Initialize the default crop to the active area, make set_fmt() use the
current crop, and update the output format when the crop size changes.
Also program the sensor window from the active crop/format state instead
of using the fixed supported_modes entry.

This allows userspace to configure the sensor crop window explicitly.

Does it really say that in the datasheet? To me this looks like a driver
property.

Yes, I have checked this. The sensor supports only a 2-lane MIPI interface.

There is no explicit statement in the datasheet saying that 1-lane mode is
unsupported. However, after reviewing all available registers, I did not find
any configuration that allows switching to a 1-lane mode.

Additionally, the datasheet provides no indication or guidance for 1-lane
operation. Based on this, I conclude that the sensor does not support a
1-lane configuration.

If you still prefer, I can keep the data-lanes property as is and not drop it.

Best Regards,
Elgin

To me it feels like only 2-lane is supported, so fine by me.

This is an automated instruction, just in case, because many review
tags are being ignored. If you know the process, just skip it entirely
(please do not feel offended by me posting it here - no bad intentions
intended, no patronizing, I just want to avoid wasted efforts). If you
do not know the process, here is a short explanation:

Please add Acked-by/Reviewed-by/Tested-by tags when posting new
versions of patchset, under or above your Signed-off-by tag, unless
patch changed significantly (e.g. new properties added to the DT
bindings). Tag is "received", when provided in a message replied to you
on the mailing list. Tools like b4 can help here ('b4 trailers -u ...').
However, there's no need to repost patches *only* to add the tags. The
upstream maintainer will do that for tags received on the version they
apply.
