These are not compatible with older variants because Shikra requires a
newer codec version with changes that are not supported by the existing
bindings. In particular, Shikra introduces an additional adhoc register
block, making the previous implementation unsuitable. Hence, new
bindings are added specifically for Shikra RX and VA macros.
