* [PATCH v5 3/6] remoteproc: qcom: Push reset ops, fw ops, rproc ops in to of_match data

Instead of directly assigning reset, fw and rproc ops, put them
in to of_match data and get from that. Currently same ops
are used for all compatibles, but that will change when we add
q6v5-wcss support.

Most of the q6v5-pil start function is same for the q6v5-wcss rproc
that will be added later. So split and move out the common pieces
so that the same code can be reused.

IPQ8074 has an integrated Hexagon dsp core q6v5 and a wireless lan
(Lithium) IP. An mdt type single image format is used for the
firmware. So the mdt_load function can be directly used to load
the firmware. Also add the relevant resets required for this core.

q6v5-wcss core's start function is mostly common
with the q6v5 of msm8996. So reuse that and add
the stop function.

You would stall an open?  Why not just return saying you can't do that?

Anyway, if you want to only have one access to the device at a time,
great, but do it in a way that works properly.

Greg, I think you need to look at the code again.

open, as you apparently think it is.  It's a short-term lock that is
held to ensure atomic access to the jtag->opened member, so that two
concurrent opens are unable to operate lock-step, resulting in
jtag->opened becoming 2.

The open function snippet in the email drops the lock as soon as it has
incremented jtag->opened, or encounters an error.

It seems entirely sensible, rather than using an atomic_t counter, as
it means that other openers are held off until the current opener has
either succeeded in opening the device or failed to open it.

Changes since v1:
- Use the crtc->mode_valid and not connector->mode_valid as the limit is really
  posed by the 'crtc' (DISPC)
- Bandwidth calculation changed: do the calculation in place + extended comment
- looked for better place to document the max-memory-bandwidth, but
  can not find any suitable document. Creating a new txt file for only one
  property did not seemed feasable.

This series will add simple memory bandwidth limit support to reject modes
which, if used with one plane in full size would fail the limit.

max-memory-bandwidth can be used to specify the maximum bandwidth dispc
can use when reading display data from main memory.

In some SoC (am437x for example) we have memory bandwidth limitation
which causes underflow in the display subsystem.

If we have memory bandwidth limit configured, reject the modes which would
require more bandwidth than the limit if it is used with one full
resolution plane (most common use case).

This filtering is not providing full protection as it is possible that
application would pick smaller crtc resolution with high resolution planes
and down scaling, or can enable more smaller planes where the sum of their
bandwidth need would be higher than the limit.

This patch only allows us to filter out modes which would need more
bandwidth if they were used with one full screen plane.

Thanks, I'll use "isil,external-resistor-ohms" as defined in
property-units.txt.

What bothers me a bit is that there is no "-kilo-ohms" suffix but a
"-micro-ohms" which is pretty uncommon. Even the only use of suffix
"-micro-ohms" could have been expressed easily as "-ohms" while being
more readable:

qcom,external-resistor-micro-ohms = <10000>;

Due to stable dt-api I suppose this cannot be changed and/or extended
with "-kilo-ohms", right?

When a need raise up to use JTAG interface for system's devices
programming or CPU debugging, usually the user layer
application implements jtag protocol by bit-bang or using a 
proprietary connection to vendor hardware.
This method can be slow and not generic.
 
We propose to implement general JTAG interface and infrastructure
to communicate with user layer application. In such way, we can
have the standard JTAG interface core part and separation from
specific HW implementation.
This allow new capability to debug the CPU or program system's 
device via BMC without additional devices nor cost. 

This patch purpose is to add JTAG master core infrastructure by 
defining new JTAG class and provide generic JTAG interface
to allow hardware specific drivers to connect this interface.
This will enable all JTAG drivers to use the common interface
part and will have separate for hardware implementation.

The JTAG (Joint Test Action Group) core driver provides minimal generic
JTAG interface, which can be used by hardware specific JTAG master
controllers. By providing common interface for the JTAG controllers,
user space device programing is hardware independent.
 
Modern SoC which in use for embedded system' equipped with
internal JTAG master interface.
This interface is used for programming and debugging system's
hardware components, like CPLD, FPGA, CPU, voltage and
industrial controllers.
Firmware for such devices can be upgraded through JTAG interface during
Runtime. The JTAG standard support for multiple devices programming,
is in case their lines are daisy-chained together.

For example, systems which equipped with host CPU, BMC SoC or/and 
number of programmable devices are capable to connect a pin and
select system components dynamically for programming and debugging,
This is using by the BMC which is equipped with internal SoC master
controller.
For example:

BMC JTAG master --> pin selected to CPLDs chain for programming (filed
upgrade, production) 
BMC JTAG master --> pin selected to voltage monitors for programming 
(field upgrade, production) 
BMC JTAG master --> pin selected to host CPU (on-site debugging 
and developers debugging)

For example, we can have application in user space which using calls
to JTAG driver executes CPLD programming directly from SVF file
 
The JTAG standard (IEEE 1149.1) defines the next connector pins:
- TDI (Test Data In);
- TDO (Test Data Out);
- TCK (Test Clock);
- TMS (Test Mode Select);
- TRST (Test Reset) (Optional);

The SoC equipped with JTAG master controller, performs
device programming on command or vector level. For example
a file in a standard SVF (Serial Vector Format) that contains
boundary scan vectors, can be used by sending each vector
to the JTAG interface and the JTAG controller will execute
the programming.

Initial version provides the system calls set for:
- SIR (Scan Instruction Register, IEEE 1149.1 Data Register scan);
- SDR (Scan Data Register, IEEE 1149.1 Instruction Register scan);
- RUNTEST (Forces the IEEE 1149.1 bus to a run state for a specified
  number of clocks.

SoC which are not equipped with JTAG master interface, can be built
on top of JTAG core driver infrastructure, by applying bit-banging of
TDI, TDO, TCK and TMS pins within the hardware specific driver.

Initial patch for JTAG driver
JTAG class driver provide infrastructure to support hardware/software
JTAG platform drivers. It provide user layer API interface for flashing
and debugging external devices which equipped with JTAG interface
using standard transactions.

Driver exposes set of IOCTL to user space for:
- XFER:
- SIR (Scan Instruction Register, IEEE 1149.1 Data Register scan);
- SDR (Scan Data Register, IEEE 1149.1 Instruction Register scan);
- RUNTEST (Forces the IEEE 1149.1 bus to a run state for a specified
  number of clocks).
- SIOCFREQ/GIOCFREQ for setting and reading JTAG frequency.

Driver core provides set of internal APIs for allocation and
registration:
- jtag_register;
- jtag_unregister;
- jtag_alloc;
- jtag_free;

Platform driver on registration with jtag-core creates the next
entry in dev folder:
/dev/jtagX

Driver adds support of Aspeed 2500/2400 series SOC JTAG master controller.

Driver implements the following jtag ops:
- freq_get;
- freq_set;
- status_get;
- idle;
- xfer;

It has been tested on Mellanox system with BMC equipped with
Aspeed 2520 SoC for programming CPLD devices.
