But why? It just means that the patch has been reviewed. In some rare
cases we explicitly ask a developer to have all the patches reviewed
before sending them upstream. In such a case having an R-B tag
fulfills the expectation of the maintainer: it shows that another
engineer has reviewed the patch.

There's an issue when using two cameras concurrently. This has been
discussed some time ago on the linux-media mailing list, see [1]. Adam

I am traveling, so I don't have the technical documents in front of
me, but I beleive this is an over-drive speed, and 400MHz would be the
single clock, standard rate. I created an imx8mm-overdrive and
imx8mn-overdrive dtsi file to let users who operate in overdrive mode
to update their clocks in one place.
I also think this goes down if the user is running two cameras instead
of one. I re-read the old thread, and it's coming back to me, but
until I can get settled into my hotel in Germany, I won't have time to
review. I think the original idea was to use the lowest, conservative
value with the idea that people can tweak their clock settings if
they're only running one and if they are running in over-drive mode.

Why do they need to be added to the consumer DT node? Why can't the
icc_clk device driver (icc_clk_driver?) use struct clk_hw instead of
struct clk in struct icc_clk_data? The answer cannot be that the icc_clk
driver cannot be changed.

That's not what I meant :) The whole concept of having to pick some
random number is bad. At the least, hide that in the icc_clk driver so
that we don't have to put this in every clk provider that is also an
interconnect provider.

Yes, always on clks should always be on. We don't turn them off if the
driver fails to probe. We should probably print a warning or something
if the register write fails, but since this is mmio it won't fail, so
just make sure they're on and move on.
