Subject: [PATCH v3 12/12] xfs: Allow block allocator to take an alignment hint
Date: Thu, 27 Feb 2025 18:08:13 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20250227180813.1553404-13-john.g.garry@oracle.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20250227180813.1553404-1-john.g.garry@oracle.com>

When issuing an atomic write by the CoW method, give the block allocator a
hint to align to the extszhint.

This means that we have a better chance to issuing the atomic write via
HW offload next time.

It does mean that the inode extszhint should be set appropriately for the
expected atomic write size.
