Thank you for reading this.

During the process of compiling gmfsk I have come to the stage where I need
to install libgnomeui2-devel. I've spent the past two weeks in dependency
hell and I'm now at the point where I have to seek help.

The final package, and surly it is near the end of the list, is
libgnome2-devel. It won't install because it requires another package
(libbonobo-devel, I think it was), which in turn requires libgnome2-devel; a
circular dependency.

I've been using gmfsk for many years and each time I upgrade Mandriva I have
to go through a fairly easy process of installing a short list of packages,
but not this time! The process is more difficult than it needs to be because
I now have to connect to the Internet under Windows, download a package,
restart Linux only to discover that I need another package.

Is there anyone on the list that uses gmfsk under Mandriva 2008?

Regards,
Phil.
