I've noticed that the kissattach program requires that you provide an IP
address even if your not planning on doing IP over ax25. No big deal, I'm
just wondering why. It just doesn't seem very consistent, you can create
eth devices, wlan devices or most any other networking device without having
to provide an IP address or otherwise doing an ifconfig on it.

Please let me know.
