Good news everyone!
Hamlib-1.2.7.1 has been released.
Hamlib provides a unified environment for the development of radio and
rotator control applications. The release 1.2.7.1 is a maintenance
release. Owners of a FT1000MP definitely need to upgrade in order
to fix a regression introduced by version 1.2.7.
Check it out at http://hamlib.org !
New in 1.2.7.1:
* New model: miniVNA
* Fixes: FT1000MP, Tentec Orion, Omni VI Plus
* AOR: implemented scanning
* Kenwood models TS2000, TS870S can now get/set antenna.
TS2000 gained strength meter calibration.
Download pages are accessible at http://sourceforge.net/projects/hamlib
rpms, .deb and Win32 DLL's coming soon.
Please, test it out and report to hamlib-developer@lists.sourceforge.net
Developers are also invited to join the Hamlib team by subscribing to
this mailing list. If your favorite rig is not in the supported list,
feel free to ask.
Many thanks to all the developers and testers who participated
in this release. Contributors and backend maintainers are listed
in the AUTHORS file.
Have fun and let us know!

Is there plans to fix/update the FT-1000 (v6 ROM) hamlibs?? It still is a
partial build from the FT-990 and I have not found any one that has it
working correctly....
FYI, I have tried it under SuSE 10.2, couple of Ubuntu distros, and flavors
of BSD....

G'day,
what is the problem with it? I can't test the FT-1000D but it works
fine with the FT-990 and firmware 1.30.
