Subject: TNC2 KISS, jamming everything in sight?
Date: Wed, 12 Jun 2013 18:34:07 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20130612173407.GA25343@gjcp.net> (raw)
Hi all,
I have a bit of an odd problem with a couple of TNC2s - one running 1.1.6 and the other running 1.1.9 firmware. They both are quite happy to start transmitting when the channel is busy, keying up over the top of whatever else is there.
I'm sure the firmware in my other TNC2 doesn't do this, but I can't remember what it is (it's new enough to support GPS messages, if that's any help). Has anyone got any suggestions for possible replacement firmware? Would I be better trying something like JKISS?
