Disregard.  It works just great.  Don't know what I was doing wrong before...

Since one of these TNCs has a ROM select switch I may try concatenating two ROMs so I can retain "standalone" operation.  Any recommendations for a basic PMS/BBS that'll work with a Tiny-2?
