A friend of mine reported exactly the same error with SuSE 8.1. We never
found a fix for it, but we didn't try very hard...
Anyway with SuSE 8.2 he didn't have any problems.

Hello,
After upgrading to gcc-3.2.3 (debian/unstable) gmfsk will not compile anymore.
I define _OPTIMIZE_ it will the compile but than not linking.
Any hints?
It was ok with gcc-3.2.1.

What is your gcc --version? I have 3.2.3 20030415 (Debian prerelease)
and gmfsk 0.5 still compiles fine.

gcc (GCC) 3.2.3
I found my mistake, I had overwritten the CFLAGS/CPPFLAGS in the enviroment.
Now it compiles ok.
Thanks for help and sorry for waste bandwith.
