True. It's just that if you try to use anything greater than 2.88MB
for a CDROM boot image, it has to be partitioned, and you save
some CD space if you use the same boot image file for both CD and
LS-120.

There is no problem to make a CDROM boot image of any size, for the ia64
at least.  Just specify -no-emul-boot when creating the CD image.
