Hello,
it looks like the archive page of the mailing list is broken. On the URL
http://lists.linuxia64.org/archives//info-ia64/
I can find only two entries:
2000q2 : 3 mails
2000q1 : 1 mail
What's wrong? I removed the digest received today and was looking for a
message on the gcc -ma-step option...

You are looking at the wrong mailing list archive. The info mailing
list has been inactive for a while. Try looking at the kernel mailing list
archive.
