For stablity on earlier steppings CONFIG_ITANIUM_PTCG not set, 
CONFIG_DISABLE_VHPT=y, CONFIG_ITANIUM_BSTEP_SPECIFIC =y 
CONFIG_ITANIUM_B[012]_SPECIFIC should be = y
