Has anybody tested Linux on the new BIOS 96 from Intel yet?
Are there any problems to be expected?

BIOS 96 is no longer the recommended version, due to some console
redirection issues. BIOS 97 has fixed those issues (otherwise I believe it
contains the same firmware components as 96).
I have booted Linux and done limited testing on BIOS 97 with no issues. I
have not yet tried to build a kernel or any heavy-duty stress testing
though.
