Subject: [Linux-ia64] What options to choose to get successful 2.4.4 kernel build
Date: Mon, 07 Jan 2002 19:58:00 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <marc-linux-ia64-105590698805765@msgid-missing> (raw)

I am trying to compile my first Itanium kernel.

I am trying to compile a Linux Itanium kernel and I am having some
difficulties. Where could I download or copy a .configure file for a LION
system.

Specifics: I have a Lion system.
I want to add the new Itanium VTune patch to the kernel.
I am currently trying to compile Linux kernel 2.4.4 with the
Itanium 2.4.4 patch.
the compile is breaking in the middle of the "make" process.
on various things depending on what I choose in the "make configure"

Else which options must I choose to get a successful booting Itanium Kernel
on a LION system
	DIG-compliant ? or generic ?
	etc...
