I've put all the bits and pieces together and made a patch which seems to
be pretty stable. The patch applies to:
2.4.17 + kdb_common + ia64 + kdb_ia64 + sched-01-2.4.17-J4.patch
I hope the task migration interrupt part is ok, I loaded the machine quite
a bit but /proc/interrupts never showed one occuring.
