 Hello, I had just subscribed the mail list and I hope that someone can help me with this:


I bought a compaq 725US some stuff are working right BUT the sound doesnt works! it is a PRO SAVAGE KN 133, I am using red hat 7.3 I downloaded the driver from the net recompiled the kernel, it found the driver BUT doesnt works! And i get from logwatch some stuff saying that sound service cant be found.
(Does someone knows if kernel 2.4.18 has drive support for this sound? THANK YOU)
