Hello all,
A few weeks ago I bought a Dell Latitude 233 laptop, 4GB harddisk, 96MB RAM etc. It's only a little slow when running XFree86 on it, even when compiling X with the latest GCC, optimization = -march=pentium2 -mmmx .
So I saw that there are some other Xservers available under the XFree86 source tree.
--> Has anyone tried then yet?
--> Is it possible to run other windowmanagers on it?? (eg: WindowMaker)
Kind regards,
Jan
