* [linux-lvm] Tool to convert LVM1 vgcfgbackup to readable format? @ 2004-07-30 8:10 Frank Mohr 2004-07-30 20:35 ` Alasdair G Kergon 0 siblings, 1 reply; 5+ messages in thread From: Frank Mohr @ 2004-07-30 8:10 UTC (permalink / raw) To: LVM general discussion and development Hi is there any tool to convert vgcfgbackup files to a editable format and back? I still try to fix some broken PE entries. I think the easiest way to fix these would be to work with the last backup file, fix them there and then do a vgcfgrestore. It's in the list archive somewhere I think, how to use LVM2 userspace tools (no need to install kernel device-mapper) to read/edit/write LVM1 on-disk metadata.
