Hi Philipp,
Yes, it is generic enough to be reused across many SoCs.
MediaTek previously used that approach, but was told it was not
acceptable. I think that is why it did not happen.
I am also curious why hi3798cv200.dtsi#L134 is allowed to use
this method?
