I'm not aware of memalign() behavior detail, but It doesn't seems
to resue the VMA area:

 - whlie memalign() (request 8MB):
    mmap(NULL, 10489856, PROT_READ|PROT_WRITE, MAP_PRIVATE|MAP_ANONYMOUS, -1, 0) = 0xed1b4557f000
    madvise(0xed1b4557f000, 10489856, MADV_HUGEPAGE) = 0

 - at split_huge_page_test after memalign() while making THP:
    madvise(0xed1b45600000, 8388608, MADV_HUGEPAGE) = 0

It seems memalign() adds a front padding internally and calls
madvise() with MADV_HUGEPAGE then return aldigned address inside of
memalign() not depends on mmap() behavior.
