Hi,

I'm just doing some digging before trying to dive into some development
(going
to look at the Adlib/SB mixing task Stas mentioned) but I had some problems
getting the latest 1.1.4.4 patched version to compile. The
Makefile in src/plugin/term needed a CFLAGS= line on my system before it
could find quite a few of the required headers.

On a completely unrelated topic, how does the idea of an apps database for
DOSEMU
sound? I'm thinking of something similar to the one the Wine people have to
track
users' experiences trying to run different apps (http://appdb.winehq.com).
This might encourage more users to try DOSEMU, by showing them what works
right now and what doesn't.

Could you mail me (privately) your config.log? I guess the configure
script must have had some problems locating your slang includes and
directory. Where do you have them?

Years ago there existed an EMUsuccess.txt. Then in fact it became more
efficient to get an EMUfailure.txt because more applications don't work
than do work (the ones that don't mostly because of fundamental problems).
Now EMUfailure.txt hasn't been updated in a long time either; if you're
willing to do that you're very welcome to.

I think this is an excellent idea, one that I've considered myself.  The
easiest thing to do would be to set up a wiki somewhere.
