DOSEmu and Paradox Issue

Hi,

I've been testing a DOSEmu, MS-DOS 6.22 and Paradox 4.5 setup (under
standard install of Mandrake 8).  Paradox seems really happy (it reports
it can use full 16mb of DPMI - the max Paradox can use), but when
running an old scripted application (using Paradox's PAL language), I
get repeated crashes (unfortunately Paradox's error messages tend to be
meaningless).  I suspect the problem is the PAL script is automating
keypresses, but DOSEmu reserves certain keypresses (e.g. Ctrl-Q).  I was
just wondering if anybody else has any experience of this before I spend
too much more time experimenting.

Which version of dosemu, setting of rawkeyboard, console or X?

I downloaded the latest DOSEmu stable release binary package about a
fortnight ago (don't have the actual verion number to hand).

I'm assuming I cannot use rawkeyboard as the Paradox application is a
multi-user application using telnet sessions across the local network.
I suppose that's a big assumption, but I thought I'd get some feedback
before fiddling around too much!

You could try X instead of telnet and the latest developer from dosemu.org,
if you can build your dosemu.

Some keys are naturally tricky using telnet -- and there's not much we
can do about it. You can workaround it by using ctrl-^ sequences:
ctrl-^ h
for me that is ctrl+6, followed by the h key,
gives a help screen.
