Debian packages of development versions?

Hi all,

Does anyone maintain such unofficial packages? The Debian
maintainer, Herbert Xu, has told me that he does not maintain
packages of development versions so the latest version in the
Debian archives, even in unstable, is 1.0.2. ;(

that's understandable -- after all the comment on www.dosemu.org/bleeding
is still there, so he would then need to maintain two packages (similar
to octave2.0 and octave2.1) and probably doesn't have time for that.

I guess you could look for the various 1.1.4 RPMs out there and convert
them using "alien".

        BTW, unstable Debian has 1.0.2 too :( I've made 1.1.4 for
        myself. As well as Victor Wagner at ftp://45.free.net/
