1.1.4.15 crashes with Doom

Hi, it's me and my Doom stuff again.

I just installed 1.1.4.15 afresh, it segfaults and locks up my console
when I try to launch Doom.  It might be because I've installed a
different video card from what I used to have (it's now a Radeon 7k),
I've tried many $_chipsets with no luck.  Might be something entirely
different ofcourse.

Debug messages (-D+dDwrkmghxTvIMS, let me know if you want less or more)
at http://home.powertech.no/sletner/dosemu.debug.gz but it doesn't seem
to contain much useful.

I'm running with just this in dosemu.conf:

	$_hdimage = "dosboot"
	$_rawkeyboard = (1)
	$_console = (1)
	$_graphics = (1)
	$_chipset = "ati"

Anything else I need?

Any ideas?

Doom2 works perfectly for me, but yes,
.15 is rather buggy...
What linux kernel are you using?

I have Radeon 7500. Btw, there are some
problems in a Radeon driver of XFree 4.3.
So if you have XFree 4.3 and it was started
at least once since the last reboot, you
have to set $_vbios_post=(1) or dosemu will
crash and burn or display the weird things.

The obvious never occurs to me...  no, actually, it doesn't. :)
Segfaults as well.

Long ago, before 1.1.4.  Could you recommend a 1.1.4.x that might work
better?
