Hello.

Perhaps you should go to dosemu tracker,
open an RFE there and attach your program
to it, if you want this to be done.
It may be possible to implement that option
without the test-case, but nevertheless it
would be nice to test the change right away
and see if it really helps that program.

I would need to also attach the cobol compiler. It's copyrighted[1], it's
about 3MB compressed, and a nightmare to get used to it.

What I have found is that it crashes on windows 98 too. *BUT* if I run windows
98 in dos mode (F8 on boot, commandline only) then my program works ok. Does
this gives any of you any hint?
Many thanks in advance,

Hello list,
Please, CC me any replies as I'm not subscribed to this list.
I'm trying to hunt down a bug in a COBOL program I'm writting for my CS class
(please don't laugh; I live in Argentina.) The problem is that this very
simple program crashes dosemu when it opens an indexed file.
Since the COBOL compiler I'm using was written on 1984/5, I think the problem
lies in dosemu reporting 2GB free on C:. Is there any way to limit free disk
space to let's say 50MB/200MB? If so, how?
Many thanks in advance,
Norberto

An easy way would be to make a loopback msdos/vfat image.
