Hi,
I never got a response here to this question, and I haven't found a
workaround yet. So I thought I'd try here again.
I first noticed this in RH 7.2 with 2.4.9-31 kernel. It happens in KDE,
but not in Gnome. (KDE folks said to send this to you.) I have now
found the exact same issue in RH 7.3 using DOS emu version 1.0.1-10,
1.0.2-1, and 1.1.3.
In KDE with DOSEMU in a window when I click the mouse on a text screen,
it will not activate the item. If I move the mouse ever so
slightly while holding down the mouse button it will active. The best
example is Managing Your Money (v12). The mouse will "select" items only
if I move it slightly while holding down the mouse button.
How can I correct this problem?
Thanks!
Joe Henley

Hello,
I have the same problem (I suppose ...) with Redhat 7.3, dosemu 1.1.3
and fvwm (recent snapshot or 2.5.2). The problem doesn't occur when I
use an other window manager (Afterstep 1.0).
Actualy, it seems that (with fvwm) any click in the xdos window is
received as a click on the upper left pixel of the window.
The symptom described by Joe can also be seen with edit (from dos 6.22).
With foxpro (URL below), the menu starts in the upper left corner:
clicking anywhere in the xdos window will popup the "System" menu.
For testing, foxpro is at (sorry for the long line) :
ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/Products/Oemtest/v1.1/Winstress/stress/i386/stress/dos/foxpro/
Just my 2 cents (sorry Joe, I have no idea on how to fix it)
