Commander Keen 4: clarification.

Hello to all,
since long time I have tried to get Commander Keen 4 (CK4) working under 
dosemu - without success. Always, after the start, the program tried to 
recognize the system recources like memory , graphic card and other and 
...hangs. Nothing happend. I have seen, this was reported on this 
mailing list also from other people.
But from other people was always reported, that there are no problems 
with CK4 under Dosemu. Now I have found the reasons. There are different 
versions of CK4.
The versions 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2 does not work, but the version 1.4 works fine!
So look at the version you have, and than you know if they will work or no.

at one time i used to have CK1 and CK4 working.  inaddition i also had 
EZCosmos, BattleChess and a few others.  this was back with Dosemu 1.01 on a 
Mdk 7.0 system.  Newer mandrakes and my current debain will not run them.
I wish i could explain why but they both did work at one time.
