Hello
I have not been able to get dosemu to run. I have followed
'README.bindist' to the letter several times, the directory dosemu is
created with the 7 files. When I try to run dosemu with ./xdosemu or
./dosemu I am returned to the prompt after a fraction of a second. The
first time I did get the liability disclaimer and answered 'yes'
Boot log only reads "Running unprivilaged in low feature mode"
Yes,I am running a P4 2.4G with a colored hat size 8.
I am just starting out with Linux and hope in some way I can help with
the developement of this program. In the mean time may I get a bit of
help - what am I missing?
With thanks
Robert

Even though you haven't specified
the version of dosemu you are using,
the cure would be to upgrade your
dosemu, because it's a kind of a
panacea for the problems like this one.
Latest is 1.1.3.7 at the time of writing
this message.

Dosemu seems to be the program that
always doesn't work right away for the
beginners:)

which is a problem that the binary .tgz intended to solve..., being an
out-of-the-box DOSEMU.
1.1.3.7 is a lot harder than 1.0.2.1 in this respect.
If we've hit the coopthreads problem here then 1.1.3.7 won't help the
tiniest bit.
